Responsibilities
- Develop competent caregivers for quality patient care
- Responsible for facilitating, guiding, and supporting nursing personnel in the delivery of safe and effective patient care
- Assess the learning needs of the department and develop a plan to meet the needs
- Develops, implements, and evaluates services and continuing education programs
- Attends all department staff meetings
- Attends meetings with Manager as needed
- Identifies any staff or patient-related clinical issues or problems and communicates to the Nursing Director or Department Manager as appropriate
- Contributes to cost-effective patient care by monitoring the use of time, equipment, and supplies
Qualifications
- BSN required
- MSN preferred
- CA RN License
- BLS
- 1 year clinical RN experience
