Specific Responsibilities
Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities
Participate as required in all ISO14001 and ISO/TS16949 activities such as PFMEA and APQP incentives.
Work with Tooling/Maintenance to build better systems of control
Develop, analyze and implement continuous improvement ideas to meet long term customer required cost reductions and maintain profitability
Capital equipment and tooling for internal manufacturing systems
Process development for robust product introductions
Process improvement to challenge typical ways of engineering to something more exceptional
Creating best practices for center of excellence operations
Qualifications
Engineering Degree
Robotics/Automation Experience
Stamping or Assembly of Structural Steel Parts
5 years relevant experience within a metal fabrication and assembly operation for Automotive, Truck, Large appliances, Custom Fabricated Equipment for manufacturing or similar manufacturing.
Process development and Process Improvement Experience
