MRN, Ltd. is looking for a Line Cook at Tudor Bar and Grill, located inside the Doubletree by Hilton, The Tudor Arms Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio!
Our Venues draw inspiration from the energetic atmosphere of the trendiest areas in Cleveland and provide a wide variety of engaging experiences.
Job Overview:
Our Line Cooks will be paid $14.50 per hour and be a non-exempt employee. This position has a 90-day probationary period.
A Line Cook will be asked to perform the following duties:

Learn preparation for all menu items in accordance with Tudor Bar and Grill quality standards

Setting up cook stations and stocking them with the necessary prep supplies

Preparing food on the line to quality guidelines and standardized recipes

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards that comply with state and local food safety and sanitation regulations

Handling, storing, and rotating food safely and properly

Maintaining kitchen organization and cleanliness of the line, all coolers and prep spaces
Mandatory Requirements

Ability to lift 50 pounds or less, maneuver up and down stairs with no difficulty, work in confined spaces for an extended time, work within extreme temperature ranges, and stand on feet 95% of scheduled shift

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and early mornings

Experience using common kitchen equipment and comprehension of basic mathematics skills to understand recipes, measurements, requisition amounts, and portion sizes
Preferred Experience/Knowledge

A High School Diploma or G.E.D
-
Related experience in a dynamic restaurant atmosphere

Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel

Serv-Safe and First Aid Certifications
