ABOUT MS AUL We are a reinsurance franchise at Lloyd’s, part of our global reinsurance business (London, Zurich, Bermuda, Miami, New Jersey and Singapore). Following a recent underwriting strategy review, we will now operate a specialty business at Lloyd’s, bringing together our M&A and P&C International businesses to form part of a global specialty franchise across London, the Middle East, the Far East and continental Europe. ABOUT THE JOB Job purpose MS AUL is continuing to significantly change the way it supports and rewards its people. Following a corporate restructure in 2020 we have redesigned our business. Within the HR function we are now working on a number of initiatives to embed and execute this change, including bringing a refreshed data led approach to our people agenda and a new incentive and reward structure. This role will support the delivery of project work: Workday Advanced Compensation module and Share and Recognition platforms planned for H1 2022, delivery of our reward framework, data analysis for the wider HR team and Regulatory and Governance activity. What we are looking for: Strategy & Planning: Understand the needs of the business to co-create, develop and plan Reward activities to support business objectives. Understand the needs of the Reward and wider HR team, to co-create, develop and plan activities to support business objectives for example data analysis. Delivery: Own, manage and deliver monthly cyclical Recognition Award Scheme Support the Reward team through the Global Incentive Review redesign project work including Workday Advanced Compensation module and Share and Recognition platforms planned for H1 2022 Manage benchmarking and Job Evaluation processes – using agreed benchmarking and Job Evaluation methodologies – Hay, McLagan and Willis Towers Watson Act as an SME and advisor regarding Year End Compensation process review Where required support with preparation of Remuneration Committee, Executive Committee and other Board papers Show understanding and application of Governance and Remuneration regulatory frameworks e.g. Solvency II Where required design of End User Applications to meet specified HR and business requirements (Workday and Share/Pension/Benefit platforms) necessary to support Compensation and Recognition framework Generate and share data-led insights to the HR team and management To do this you will also need to: Have experience managing reward data and operational reward processes including cyclical annual bonus and salary reviews and benchmarking data Have experience in HR data analysis or equivalent Have learning agility in mastering new things and skills Be passionate about people experience and improving this through data Build relationships and communicate at all levels of the organisation Be effective in delivering results in a dynamic and demanding environment Have high integrity and levels of professionalism Test assumptions, listen and be curious to understand CONDUCT RULES With the implementation of the SM&CR (Senior Managers & Certification Regime), the Financial Services and Markets Act gave the FCA new powers to write conduct rules and apply them to all employees within a firm. The Conduct Rules set basic standards of good personal conduct and the role holder will also be expected to perform these to the highest of standards and in accordance with the Conduct Rules as specified by the FCA, as follows: You must act with integrity You must act with due care, skill and diligence You must be open and co-operative with the FCA, PRA and other regulators You must pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly You must observe proper standards of market conduct
