The Leader of Product Management role, an exempt position, at MSI Data is the ideal opportunity for an experienced, talented, and ambitious software industry professional looking to grow their career in a rapidly growing and dynamic market – service management software. As the Product Manager for our flagship, cloud-based Service Pro® enterprise, scheduling, and mobile field service software platform, you will lead the strategy and roadmap for the Service Pro product platform. The Leader of Product Management leads the product team, including technical writing.
The successful Leader of Product Management will maintain close relationships with the market – customers, prospects, analysts, as well as know the competition as well as they do. The leader will develop the product vision and communicate with key customers and internal/external stakeholders. The Product Manager will drive the product roadmap resulting in continuous improvement of the Service Pro platform in the market.
Team Dynamic
This role reports directly to the COO/CTO. This individual will work directly with other functional leads including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Operations. The Leader of Product Management will interact directly with customers to understand customer needs and alignment with the Service Pro roadmap.

Position Responsibilities:
? Lead implementation of our product management process from market input to value-based assessments of product initiatives to establishing what we work on and NOT work on.
? Works directly with Product Development teams on alignment of the roadmap with the agile software development process.
? Represents and discusses the product roadmap with internal and external stakeholders.
? Assesses field service market trends to inform our strategic direction. Monitor and assess competitors to establish differentiating positions.
? Work with customer operations teams to understand and assess current customer needs for the Service Pro platform.
? Lead the development of new product management process initiatives, including Jobs To Be Done methodology.
? Lead the product management team, including technical writing.
Position Qualifications:
? BS or similar certification in Computer Science or related discipline
? 2-3 years software product management or product development experience
? Experience in field service operations
? Experience in Pragmatic Product Management or similar methodologies
? Excellent communication skills and ability to work in teams (internal and external)
