Job Summary:
The HR/Recruiter plays a vital role in providing administrative support to the Human Resources department. This position assists with HR functions, maintains records, and ensures the smooth operation of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support: Assist HR staff with various administrative tasks, including document preparation, filing, data entry, and maintaining employee records.
2. Recruitment Support: Aid in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates and hiring managers.
3. Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding process by preparing orientation materials, collecting new hire documentation, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
4. Benefits Administration: Support benefits enrollment, answer employee inquiries, and assist with benefits-related paperwork.
5. Compliance: Help maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations by staying updated on HR policies and procedures.
6. Employee Records: Ensure accurate and organized record-keeping of employee files, including personnel data, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
7. Employee Communication: Assist in the dissemination of HR-related information to employees and address basic HR-related inquiries.
8. Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions, track employee training records, and assist with professional development programs.
9. Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll department to verify timesheets, resolve payroll discrepancies, and assist with payroll processing
10. Report Generation: Prepare HR reports and metrics to assist in decision-making and compliance tracking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in HR or related field is a plus.
- Prior administrative or HR support experience is beneficial but not always required.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Working Conditions: HR/Recruiters typically work a reduced schedule, often on an hourly basis, and may have flexible working hours. They may work in an office environment or remotely, depending on the employer's policies and needs

Pay: $19.25 - $25.20 per hour
