In this role, reporting to the Mailroom Manager, you will be responsible for prepping pallets of mail accurately for shipment, completing all necessary quality checks and paperwork to get the mail delivered in a timely manner.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform daily visual forklift and electric walkie rider inspections, submit weekly written forklift and electric walkie rider inspections and replace propane tanks as needed.
• Load and unload material from transportation carrier with forklift, hand trucks and/or by hand.
• Accurately process DALs, bundle facers, and solo mailings on net jet equipment Deliver DALs and bundle facers to lines during production in a timely manner.
• Complete Quality Checks of QC Pulls from each market.
• Accurately complete load flags, paperwork, and update Maestro.
• Place load flags, wrap and stage completed pallets of mail.

Our Plants do not print advertising, we have vendors that do that for us. Our production facilities combine the individual ads from our clients and put them together with a wrap page to create individual shared mail packets using Kirk-Rudy Inserters: http://www.kirkrudy.com/mail-and-printing/paper-handling/inserting-systems/kr600-newspaper-inserter Those shared mail packets go out to over 27 million households monthly.

Experience And Skills

The successful candidate will possess previous experience working within a fast-paced production based environment, the ability to operate a forklift , pallet jack and walkie rider to ensure the safety of you, facility employees, company equipment and the physical plant. Strong attention to detail. This is a full-time role. Overtime may be required during monthly production periods.
