Seeking a Real Estate Paralegal with closing experience in Massachusetts to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to assist our attorneys with a variety of real estate matters, including conducting title searches, preparing closing documents, and coordinating real estate closings.
Responsibilities:
Conduct title searches and review title reports to identify any issues or defects
Prepare closing documents such as HUD-1 Settlement Statements, closing disclosures, deeds, and mortgages
Communicate with clients, lenders, and real estate agents to coordinate closings
Coordinate with attorneys to schedule closings and ensure all necessary documents are in order
Maintain accurate and organized records of real estate transactions
- attention to detail and accuracy, confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
- 3-4 years relevant experience
- Practical knowledge of real estate transfers
- Experience with real estate
- Willing and able to own projects, writing and negotiating, planning and organizing
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets highly desired
