What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at MTECH, Inc?
MTECH Incorporated, manufacturer of the QTAC Fire line of lightweight, portable and durable fire and rescue apparatus for UTV's, ATV's and Trucks is actively looking for a Sales Manager to lead our growing sales team. The Sales Manager will primarily report to the main office however they will also attend trade shows, vendor events and periodically be on the road with the leadership team actively selling product.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for working with the leadership team to define, implement and continuously improve our sales strategy. In addition to directly managing the sales team, the Sales Manager will develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets by expanding our customer base, will provide input and assist in the development of marketing materials, manage sales inquiries, provide sales quotes, enter orders and provide market updates as needed.
The Sales Manager will be the primary point of contact for all sales related calls to distribute to the team as needed, will be a key voice in our marketing and tradeshow calendar, provide recommendations for sales tools, improve our sales process, learn our products, work with our team of in-house engineers with new product development and product improvements, develop new customers and find opportunities.
Desired experience includes 3 years of professional product sales experience, be organized and be a problem solver; be able to work independently with minimal guidance and enjoy customer interaction; have working knowledge of Microsoft office software and experience with order entry systems; be customer focused, professional and above all, always be closing.
The ideal candidate has sales experience with equipment or vehicles, team supervision and is looking to grow professionally.
This is a full time position located in Chico, CA with a fixed and variable compensation package depending on experience.
