Our client, ReFa USA, is looking for a Sales Account Manager. This is an excellent opportunity with flexibility for either a full-time or part time schedule.
POSTITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Account Manager develops sales strategies to support the company’s growth objectives. A key area of focus for this role is on daily communication with buyers as well as training each store account on the product, primarily by means of video-based sessions. Position may require occasional store visits to support field sales initiatives. Building and nurturing relationships both within the company as well as with existing and new clients; meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets; identifying sales prospects and generating increases in sales revenue.
Position is primarily remote, but the candidate will be required to occasionally visit stores for account meetings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Account & Relationship Management:
- Negotiate terms and launch plans with new and existing retail partners
- Develop strong account relationships at all levels
- Work with retail merchants to ensure product assortments meet demand and have optimal store positioning
- Building and maintain close and productive relationships with retail buyers, store managers, and sales associates through frequent, quality in person interactions.
Sell-In and Sell-Through Strategy and Execution:
- Create and implement retail sales plans to drive sell-in for in-store and online retailers
- Develop sales plans and calendars for all key retail partners, ensuring flawless execution across all retail touch points
- Manage new account development by scheduling and attending meetings (primarily remotely), monitoring status for new account development and pushing for closure.
- Ensure that sales plans and structures are aligned to support company goals
- Analyze past sales behavior and use that information when formulating strategies and goals.
Representing the Brand:
- Acting as a brand spokesperson at every opportunity.
- Presenting the brand and facilitating trainings for existing, new, and prospective accounts (such as department stores or events)
- Creating and deploying regular and consistent communications to clients with important product updates, key ingredient highlights, and sales/education tips (for example, how to use products, merchandising, demonstrations, selling and talking about the products)
- Provide additional marketing materials and event support, as needed.
Meeting Revenue Objectives:
- Working closely with the brand director to assist in meeting the company’s revenue objectives.
- Provide consistent feedback and communication to the brand director regarding opportunities, wins and overall performance.
- Maintaining a commitment to meeting objectives in revenue, as well as quality and compliance.
- Ensuring consistent sell-through by negotiating inventory levels with buyers and managers, communicating clear goals to sales associates, and arranging trainings and events to enhance sales.
Leading Training Programs:
- Leading training, product, and sales meetings.
- Developing sales training and educational tools to support the efforts and success of the brand.
- Responding in a timely and thoughtful manner to inquiries related to training or product knowledge from both internal and external sources.
Maintaining Product Knowledge:
- Maintaining intimate knowledge of ReFa products and treatments.
REQUIRED AND PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferred in field related to business administration.
- Desired Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales in the beauty or skincare industry.
- Experience taking part in successful sales campaigns that lead to results
- Experience in innovative new technology brands is a plus! Your experience does NOT have to be in cosmetics or beauty!
- Desired Skill:
- Ability to bring innovative ideas and execution strategies to bear with lean resources. We want an “out of the box” thinker!!
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must live within daily commuting distance of Pasadena, CA. Must be willing to use own car for local travel to various sites, as well as be willing to travel further afield (including domestic air travel) for overnight, multi-night, or weekend stays.

Pay: $36,901.00 - $96,160.00 per year
