MTNA Rainsville Plant is looking for an Injection Technician for 2nd shift.
Job Summary:
Make mold and material changes reflected by production schedule. Ensure all injection related equipment is set up properly.

Responsibilities:
- Operate overhead crane to install and remove injection molds.
- Make mold and material changes reflected by production schedule.
- Ensure all injection related equipment is set up properly and producing “Quality” parts.
- Continuously monitor all injection equipment and programs for desired results
- Communicate with all shifts concerning status of equipment, programs, and productions requirements.
- Complete all assigned tasks safely, accurately, and on time.
- Maintain assigned 5S areas including cleaning up work area and properly disposing of trash and recyclable materials.
- Report any accidents / injuries /near misses immediately and cooperate fully with any investigations.
- Safely perform all tasks in a timely manner
- Heavy Lifting 50-100 pounds
- Willing and able to work overtime and weekends, even on a short notice basis.
- Mechanically Inclined
- Minor Automotive Mechanic experience (Oil changes, Brakes, etc.)
- Problem solving / troubleshooting.
- Able to multitask and attention to detail.
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Operate heavy machinery or overhead crane.
- Good communication skills with ability to work as a part of a team
- Ability to follow directions (written, spoken, and visual)
