Do you have a year or more of culinary experience? We are seeking a dedicated and passionate cook to join our culinary team and assist in preparing and serving food for patients and employees. The Culinary Associate will be responsible for following standardized recipes, adhering to nutrition requirements and food safety guidelines, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our patients and staff through the provision of high-quality food services.
Location: Columbia, Missouri
Shift: Mon - Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm, Every other weekend, rotating holidays
Department: Patient Kitchen UH
Salary Range: $15.33 - $19.75 (final salary based on experience). Pay Incentive through 3/30/24: $2.50/hr. $1 per hour shift differential

Required Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of one year of culinary experience.
Must be able to read and write English.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Degree or equivalent preferred.
Prefer obtainment of current University of Missouri Food Handler's Certificate within one month of employment.
Additional licensure/certification requirements as determined by hiring department.
