Job Overview:
Manages sales activities for Mubea North American products by performing the following duties personally or through team member. Key responsibilities are to focus on sales, pricing, cost calculation and planning activities for Mubea products.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
  • Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
  • Delivers sales presentations and key message to key clients.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  • Understand and utilize applicable material resale programs
  • Understand and utilize applicable scrap resale procedures.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Outlook, Internet software and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Processing software.
  • Must have basic knowledge or training of lean manufacturing, 5's, manufacturing plant safety, communication systems, ISO 14001, and quality, materials, and environmental standards and policies.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • A master’s degree in related field
  • SAP experience
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing and /or engineering and sales driven business
  • Experience working in a Germany based (international) organization
  • Bilingual German/Spanish a plus

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
