A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a member of our Merchandising Pro Sales team at Mulhall’s Garden Home, you’ll report to the Planning Lead. You’ll be part of a team responsible for developing and implementing our merchandising strategy – driving planned sales, maximizing inventory efficiency, and hitting profitability targets. You’ll help foster organization, ensure accuracy, and follow through on daily merchandising tasks from order writing to supporting our Pro customers.
YOUR IMPACT
o Create, enter, and edit purchase/sales orders in timely and accurate manner, being aware of the impact on inventory levels and seasonality of products
o Help review and analyze unmatched receivers and invoices
o Assist with floor set planogram creation
o Work directly with vendors and growers to ensure orders are arriving in a timely manner
o Pull sales and inventory reporting in an inventory management system as requested
o Support our Pro Process – providing daily customer service and processing orders quickly, consistently, and with attention to detail
o Audit product availability, both systematically and physically – at times, assisting in gathering and staging orders for Pro customers
