Position Summary
The Manager of Nutrition Services has 24/7 responsibility for the provision of food and nutrition services for patients and retail customers for an assigned facility or Independent Business Unit (IBU) in compliance with all applicable regulations and department standards. The Manger develops, coordinates, and implements high-quality, cost-effective food and nutrition services; oversees operations; assures successful outcomes with The Joint Commission and DOH inspections; develops and monitors budgets; manages staff and continually improves processes and procedures.
Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Business, Hotel Restaurant or related field
- Master’s degree or masters preparation in dietetics, business, or related field preferred
- Five (5) years of experience in food service setting
- Three (3) years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Specialty certification (CNSC, CSP, CDE, etc) required or obtained within first 18 months of placement in position
- Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications
