Job description
Multilink is looking for a Sales Director to help build our GOV / FED business. In this role, you will develop and execute a program to grow Multilink business within the Federal Government channel.
You Will:
- Have a strong background in GOV / FED Sales, GSA, and other Federal Purchasing Programs
- Have a working knowledge of fiber networks, fiber network product applications, broadband, GPON
- Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Play leadership role in executing sales plan for GOV / FED business that delivers projected results
- Create programs that engage GOV / FED groups within our Channel Partner Structure to further facilitate sales
- Develop new business opportunities within the GOV / FED sector by leveraging experience in the GSA, GOV / FED sales channel
- You can effectively articulate and demonstrate Multilinks vertically integrated solutions for broadband / fiber networks
- Effectively forecast sales opportunities, while tracking opportunities, activities and results through CRM
- Use CRM in the execution of daily sales activities
You Have:
- A proven history of sales success within the GOV / FED sector
- You are a hunter with a history of developing new prospective customers and collaborating across others teams, ensuring target quotas are exceeded
- You have experience successfully closing large complex deals amid a mix of new business, established accounts and channel management
- Strong executive presence with effective insight-based selling skills
- 5 - 7 years experience selling within the GOV / FED sector
- You have extensive contacts within the GOV / FED channel, working knowledge of broadband fiber networks, products and applications
- Experience with, and effective execution of solution-based sales
- Experience working in an environment where change is a constant
- You understand the difference between activity and results
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
