The Recruiter attracts, evaluates, and refers candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, search firms and other sourcing methods. Develops job advertisements and screens resumes/applications. Contacts candidates to ascertain fit, and schedules interviews. Extends offers and negotiates compensation. Initiates onboarding plan for new hires. Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively.
This position will be based at the Hillside location at 300 N. Mannheim Rd, Hillside, IL. This position could be eligible to participate the telecommuting / work from home program after an initial training period.

Essential Job Duties
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
Preferred Job Requirements
- 2 or more years of related experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system.
Minimum Job Requirements
- High School diploma or its GED equivalent and some relevant college coursework or a related field or equivalent in related work experience.
- 1 year or more experience with human resources or talent acquisition.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
- Use computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems and meeting and virtual platform sharing relative to the needs of the job.
- Minimum keyboarding skills of 40 words per minute.
