What are the responsibilities and job description for the Power electronics engineer position at Murray?
I am currently recruiting for a power electronics engineer to join an innovative deep tech start-up in the Hawthorne area of Los Angeles. This role would suit a candidate who is interested in applying their engineering fundamentals to solving difficult real-world engineering challenges, and who has a background in work on high power power electronics products.
Working closely with the founding team, you will be developing high voltage electronics. This role would suit a candidate who likes a high degree of autonomy in their work, who wants to solve complex engineering problems, and who wants to work within an ambitious, high caliber team.
The base salary for this role is in the region of $150k to $180k, and is based fully on site. On top of your base salary, you will get health coverage and equity.
The role is based onsite in LA.
The role:
- Strong all round analog electronics knowledge
- Extensive inverter experience
- High voltage electronics
- PCB layout in Altium
- Experience designing with production in mind
- System level knowledge
- Good engineering fundamentals
