Job Description
The Materials Management Coordinator II reports to the Manager of Inventory Control Logistics and Distribution. Under limited supervision, the Materials Management Coordinator II supervises the staff, the inventory management and distribution function for the Medical Center.
Additional Job Description
A bachelor's degree and two (2) years of work experience in a large supply services or property control operation; or High School or GED and four (4) years of work experience in a large supply services or property control operation, preferably in an Academic Medical Center setting. Training and experience in a functional logistical role is highly desired. Knowledge of inventory management to include shipping and receiving, order replenishments, stocking, cycle counts, quality control checks, and inventory control. Any previous experience working with or knowledge of medical equipment services is highly desirable. Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn other department specific software programs.
