The Role
The Store Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of the studio. They are primarily responsible for delivering a positive and memorable customer experience, driving sales and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Lead painting sessions, focusing on clear and creative instruction, excellent painting execution, and delivering a memorable customer experience

Assist in painting sessions by engaging with customers, providing guidance, and offering necessary support to foster a positive experience

Oversee and actively participate in all kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and quality standards are consistently met

Ensure necessary preparation and tasks are completed for special events

Drive sales through exceptional customer satisfaction and interaction, ensuring a positive customer experience

Ensure the day-to-day operation of the store runs smoothly and efficiently

Uphold visual standards by ensuring store appearance, cleanliness, and organization are maintained according to company guidelines

Accurately follow company guidelines for displaying marketing collateral

Provide feedback to promote the growth and development of in-store talent

Ensure painting quality and service standards are being met in accordance with company guidelines

Ensure compliance pertaining to alcohol service, general safety, and cash handling procedures where applicable

Handle in studio customer complaints promptly and professionally, elevating to Regional Manager as needed

Submit accurate and updated inventory counts and orders to be reviewed by Operations
-
Process weekly deliveries and organize received items in line with company guidelines, reporting discrepancies to Operations

Submit tickets to appropriate leadership to address facility and maintenance needs

Elevate ideas and suggestions to the Regional Manager for studio improvements

Perform any other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager or corporate leadership
Role Requirements

Full-time availability, averaging 35-40 hours per week.

Minimum availability of 4 full weekend days per month.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Tech-Savviness: Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and general technology, including printers, microphones, and speakers, ensuring seamless session operation.

Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel, up to 20% each week.

Flexible Work Schedule: Ability to work varied hours, including days, evenings and weekends.

Full-time Availability: Ability to fulfill full-time hours (35-40 hours) covering 70% of the weekly studio sessions.

Weekend Commitment: Ability to fulfill a minimum requirement of four full weekend days per month.
Experience/Education

2 years of full-time management experience

Bachelor's degree in Art, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; OR experience in management required

Some formal training in the arts

Experience in teaching art, especially in groups

Experience working in a bar or restaurant

Alcohol Safety/TIPS certification (Muse will provide this training if needed)

ServSafe Manager Certification (Muse will provide this training if needed)
Physical Requirements
