The purpose of this job is to produce email campaigns in support of our overall CRM Email Strategy, and content in support of our marketing channels and social media platforms. This function is responsible for the day-to-day production of ad hoc, promotional and services-based email campaigns. In addition, this role will assist with the execution and deployment of organic social media, copywriting needs as identified, and blog content. As a Specialist, the individual in this role would be expected to complete campaign builds on a daily basis and to make recommendations for how to improve or streamline processes and campaigns. This individual would also be expected to be able to build simple to medium complexity email segments and to assist in the management of campaign ticketing and follow-up.

Email/CRM Tasks & Responsibilities (60% of role)

  • Produce email campaigns to ensure proper segmentation and delivery are kept at a high bar.
  • Manage and develop copy, subject lines, and captions with fluency in: 
    • The language of musicians.
    • The language of musical instrument product specifications.
    • Our brand voice. 
  • Develop simple to medium complexity email segments.
  • Work with key stakeholders (Lessons, School Services, Retail, E-Comm, Creative, etc.) to provide contact strategy executional expertise to meet business goals and objectives.
  • Other tasks as identified by the needs of the department. 

Social Media and Content Writing Tasks & Responsibilities (40% of role)

  • Schedule and monitor posts across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, (with the potential addition of X, TikTok, and YouTube).
  • Use platform native and third-party social media tools for posting, monitoring responding and reporting. 
  • Report on key social media performance KPIs by channel, content type, etc. 
  • Flag comments, messages and mentions in a timely manner 
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to secure asset delivery and accuracy. 
  • Recognize and develop opportunities in social media trends, tools and best practices.
  • Assist in copywriting activities as needed for marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in writing original content for the Music and Arts blog.
  • Provide proofreading and editing oversight to marketing materials to ensure consistency in brand voice, clarity in messaging, and reduction in grammatical errors.
  • Other tasks as identified by the needs of the department.

Tojoinourband,you'llneedthefollowingexperience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent experience
  • 3-4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience).
  • Strong writing skills with a solid grasp of writing for marketing copy.
  • Experience working with various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok.
