KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Website Analytics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the website analytics function, driving insights to optimize our online presence, enhance user experience, and maximize online sales.
Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for website analytics, aligning it with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into decision-making processes.
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and business goals.
Product Knowledge Focus:
- Identify opportunities to enhance the online customer experience through data-driven insights.
- Implement and oversee CRO initiatives to increase conversion rates across the website.
- A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimentation methodologies to improve website performance.
- Monitor and analyze e-commerce metrics, including cart abandonment, checkout funnel analysis, and transactional data.
- Establish and maintain data governance policies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of website analytics data.
- Provide insights to optimize the online sales process and increase revenue.
Performance Measurement:
- Utilize advanced analytics tools to analyze website performance, customer behavior, and traffic patterns.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders, presenting actionable insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with marketing, IT, product, and other relevant teams to understand business requirements and deliver impactful insights.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to implement changes that improve website usability and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and enhance data tracking mechanisms.
- Effectively communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
To join our band, you'll need the following experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years experience in SEM, with a focus on e-commerce and retail environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other SEM platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel.
- Deep understanding of automated search bidding strategies including tROAS
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and achieve ROI targets.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, search engine algorithms, and digital marketing best practices.
- Google Ads and Bing Ads certifications.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices.
- Previous experience in team management and leadership.

Pay Rate: $145,000 - $160,000/yr depending on background and experience.
This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance.
