What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at Musician's Friend, Inc.?
As the Retail Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team accountable for ensuring that merchandise is properly received, properly stocked, brought to the sales floor, and merchandised according to planograms, promotions, and standards all while creating and nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.
Essential Functions (not all-inclusive):
- Ensure proper staffing levels within the department including hire and train the operations associates
- Assist in training all levels of operations associates
- Oversee shipping and receiving of gear and other store related items
- Oversee warehouse organization, stocking, and maintenance of the facility
- Loss prevention and safety, inventory management, and inventory management reporting
- Assist in Physical Inventory preparation, execution and variance reconciliation as needed
- Conduct inventory integrity audits
- Managing tasks related to inventory control
- Additional duties as assigned

Skills, Experience and Education:
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years of relevant work experience working in retail or in warehouse setting
- Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
