The HR Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support and performing a variety of Human Resources functions, which include routine clerical duties, maintaining files and records, and assisting employees with questions.
Responsibilities:
- Answers frequently asked questions from employees via phone, e-mail, or walk-in.
- Responds to employment verifications.
- Calculates and submits driver vacation hours.
- Processes required paperwork for new hire driver orientation, driver transfers, driver pay increases, and other related driver employment matters.
- Enters new hire drivers in the system and reports to corresponding agencies.
- Terminates drivers in the system and reports to corresponding agencies.
- Maintains and stores records of personnel files.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Preferred).
- One year of human resources support experience.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish (Preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
