What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Associate position at My Assembly Solutions?
1st Shift Full Time Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Process orders for shipment using shipping software
- Check counts and parts are accurate to picklists
- Use shipping software
- Check for accuracy and completion of necessary information regarding address, shipping methods, carriers, insurance and shipping billing information including duties and taxes for international shipments.
- Packing cases according customer requests
- Inspect parts to ensure parts meet customer criteria and quality expectations
- Monitor Receiving area and deliver / inform shipment to addressed recipients
- Prioritize work and, when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate
- Experience performing inventory control utilizing a warehouse management system
- Able to lift and move 30-40lbs boxes on semi-regular basis
- Fluent in English – written and verbal
- Excellent Problem solving skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Follow written and verbal instruction
- Shipping experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
- Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Attleboro, MA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
