Your Opportunity:

Full Time position reporting to the Chief Marketing and Operations Officer. As SCRUM Master, you be responsible in guiding our development teams in implementing agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality products. You will work closely with MyBambu team to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively, with a focus on maximizing value delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile Processes: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality features and products.
• Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress, ensuring that projects stay on track and within scope.
• Coach and Mentor: Guide and mentor team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and self-organization to enhance team performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product owners to manage the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team by fostering a culture of innovation and learning.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations, communicate progress, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Metrics and Reporting: Track and communicate key performance metrics, such as velocity, burn-down charts, and sprint progress, to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all Scrum practices align with the company’s standards, policies, and regulatory requirements, especially within the context of neobanking.
• Promote a Positive Team Environment: Encourage open communication, collaboration, and a healthy team dynamic that fosters trust and respect.

Skill and Abilities:

• Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, and the ability to apply these in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify challenges and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Technical Acumen: Familiarity with software development processes, tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and fintech products. Ability to understand technical issues and drive resolution.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Conflict Resolution: Skilled in managing and resolving conflicts within the team, promoting a collaborative and supportive working environment.
• Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Ability to coach and mentor team members, fostering an environment of learning, growth, and self-organization.

Job Requirements:

• Bilingual - (English & Spanish), preferred.
• Three to five (3-5 years) of experience as a Scrum Master in a technology-driven environment, preferably within fintech or digital banking.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certifications (e.g., PSM, PMI-ACP), preferred.

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
