Your Opportunity:
Full Time position reporting to the Chief Marketing and Operations Officer. As SCRUM Master, you be responsible in guiding our development teams in implementing agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality products. You will work closely with MyBambu team to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively, with a focus on maximizing value delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile Processes: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality features and products.
- Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress, ensuring that projects stay on track and within scope.
- Coach and Mentor: Guide and mentor team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and self-organization to enhance team performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product owners to manage the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team by fostering a culture of innovation and learning.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations, communicate progress, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track and communicate key performance metrics, such as velocity, burn-down charts, and sprint progress, to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all Scrum practices align with the company’s standards, policies, and regulatory requirements, especially within the context of neobanking.
- Promote a Positive Team Environment: Encourage open communication, collaboration, and a healthy team dynamic that fosters trust and respect.
Skill and Abilities:
- Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, and the ability to apply these in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Job Requirements:
- Bilingual - (English & Spanish), preferred.
- Three to five (3-5 years) of experience as a Scrum Master in a technology-driven environment, preferably within fintech or digital banking.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certifications (e.g., PSM, PMI-ACP), preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
