Primary Purpose:
Program Manager will lead/assist the Lead Program Manager in leading programs medium-large projects which encompass one or many product teams. They will partner with product, engineering, and application teams to facilitate the delivery process. Program Manager must be comfortable partnering with remote product delivery teams. Being able to collaborate with crossfunctional matrixbased teams, establish trust with a variety of stakeholders across multiple time zones, find and implement process efficiency, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understands and develops product portfolio delivery plans that illustrates inflight and planned programs and highlights known (operational and technical) crossprogram dependencies and blockers to internal key stakeholders.
- Performs core program management duties, including assisting the Loyalty program to follow established agile processes and stakeholder checkpoints. Develop integrated plans that include program deliverables, strategic alignment, milestones, risks, assumptions, constraints.
- Monitors program execution to ensure that key milestones are met and that programs are delivered effectively to achieve the overall goals. Coordinates release schedules for Loyalty products teams (e.g. app store releases) with crossfunctional teams.
- Tracks manage and reports on program health to internal leaders. This includes escalating known dependencies, risk, or issues to be unblocked.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure the roadmap, epics, user stories are clearly defined, and backlog priorities are maintained to enable a smooth agile development process and minimize blockers. Facilitating product standups and scrum ceremonies (grooming, planning, retrospectives, etc.).
- Owning the Confluence and JIRA boards as an Admin for the Loyalty Team
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of prior experience in managing technology programs, working with digital product teams and Agile Methodologies within mature digital organizations.
- Intermediate/Advance Fluency in Atlassian Products.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working with digital product teams
- Previous experience in management consulting, retail, hospitality and/or entertainment focused companies.
- Prior experience in PMP / Lean / Six Sigma. & Certified ScrumMaster.
- Prior experience in involving cross functional technology teams.
- Prior experience in a variety of project management tools, methodologies, and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Prior experience in core program management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking.
