JOB DESCRIPTION :

TDCJ is seeking an experienced Business Consultant to leadgive guidance and give expertise for business analysis bestpractices on our Corrections Information Technology Systems (CITS)project.

This role will help in identifying opportunities forprocess improvement enhancing operational efficiency and fosteringcollaboration between technical teams and businessstakeholders.

• Have the ability toevaluate existing processes and workflows to identify areas forimprovement and optimization.
• Have the abilityto provide strategic guidance and leadership in implementinggovernance frameworks to enhance operational efficiency andeffectiveness.
• Have the ability to identifyopportunities for process improvement within the business analystfunction driving continuous enhancement and innovation.
• Have the ability to implement best practices andstandards to streamline processes and deliverables.
• Possess a solid understanding of technical concepts andmethodologies with the ability to bridge the gap between businessrequirements and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignmentbetween business needs and technical capabilities
• Excellent communicator able to translate needs demandsand requirements into easily understandable thoughts andideas.
• Strong organizational and communicationskills with the ability to effectively lead and mentor ateam.

Job Duties

• Devise approach to solving complex problems;
• Manage conflicting stakeholder expectations;
• Manage project scope;
• Refocusefforts as issues / problems dynamically change in Customerenvironment;
• Design and conductworkshops;
• Identify the appropriate approachtools and methodologies to perform analysis and drawconclusions;
• Full leadership for managingdelegated endtoend creation of project deliverables;
• Help team to develop new insights from theanalysis;
• Provideongoing updates to Customer on engagement status;
• Solicit feedback on interim deliverables;
• Manage project escalations;
• Manageengagement financials revenue and profitability;
• Provide subject matter expertise on a specific areawithin a domain / technology / service; and
• Exhibit high level of skills in data aggregation andanalysis leading to development of value proposition in solutiondevelopment

JobQualifications

• Expertisein communications domain;
• Expertise inidentifying and defining problems analysis and developingrecommendations;
• Extensive experience managingconsulting engagements;
• Specialist in managingthe engagement financials & operations; and
• High level of ethics judgment communication and peopleskills.

Education and Experience

Six (6) to ten (10) years of management andInformation technology consulting experience.
