Jaguar Palm Beach is looking for a Cashier to help manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently and join their growing workforce.
Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments, issuing receipts, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCIES):
· Employees must maintain an appropriate standard of dress and personal appearance at work and conduct themselves in a professional manner.
· Great interpersonal and communication skills.
· Experience using computers and Microsoft applications for a variety of task.
· Knowledge of general office procedures and office machinery (computer, fax, telephone and copier).
· Good time management skills.
· Customer-services orientation and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
· Education requirements for this post are high school diploma or its equivalent.
· Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
· Oral and written skills.
· Record-keeping techniques.
· General clerical duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
· Greet customers entering the establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
· Answering customers questions and provide information on procedures or policies.
· Correctly verify payor’s identity, required personal information and amount of ticket.
· Process payments accurately based on payment type and established company policy.
· Obtain proper authorization for payments when required (based on dollar amount limits.)
· Capable for prioritizing work, recognizing urgency of greeting and servicing customers professionally.
· Properly close Repair Orders (ROs.)
· Must follow all established department and company policies, procedures, utilizing best practices.
· Work well in a teamwork environment.
· Must be able to work all scheduled hours, including overtime and weekends, if necessary.
· Assist in dealership physical inventory as scheduled.
· Responsible for own deposit envelope, including balancing cash drawer and closing Parts and Service tickets every day.
· Reconcile sales logs to DOC as scheduled.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
