Your Specific Responsibilities :

  • This is a clerical position in Environmental Health and includes data entry and permitting for all facilities as well as obtain required information from building contractors and the general public for Onsite Sewage Disposal and Treatment System (OSTDS) permits and well permit applications;
  • enters information into OSTDS computer programs and log; print appropriate forms, enter fees; submit information to obtain utility clearance in Sunshine One Web Site;
  • process permits and related forms for issuance; fax permits; either CO hold and releases in the county computer; enter data into OSTDS computer program when septic has final approval;

enter data into well spreadsheet when processing a well application, when completion report is received, and when the well has final approval, scans reports and data into electronic record retention system.

Schedule final inspections for the OSTDS program coordinating information between the contractors and the OSTDS staff. Operates a variety of standard office machines, i.

e.., fax machine, copier, scanner, credit card machine and computer / printed.

Perform other related tasks and duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Knowledge of legal descriptions, county building and zoning requirements, established office procedures and appropriate fees.

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Programs; Ability to learn EH Database, computer program and provide good customer service.
