The Amazon Rufus Editorial team is seeking a Program Manager who is passionate about technology, innovation, and improving the customer experience. This is an opportunity to join the high-performing team behind Amazon's new generative AI-powered shopping assistant. Rufus makes it easy for customers to find and discover the best products to meet their unique needs by helping with product research, providing comparisons and recommendations, answering specific product questions, and more. This role is inherently high-visibility and highly cross-functional, requiring collaboration and influence across product, design, science, and engineering.

This role will require excellent written and oral communication skills, exceptional judgment, strong interpersonal skills, deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for serving customers. Key job responsibilities

• Support strategic projects for large, complex editorial and labeling workstreams
• Manage intake processes, prioritizing projects based on strategic goals, business needs, and customer value
• Establish and evolve organization-wide communications
• Maintain a high-quality bar across projects and drive solutions to close any gaps

Basic Qualifications

• 3 years of program or project management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
