At Kelly®, we’re seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to work in Shelton, CT.
Pay Rate : $30.00 / hr
Hybrid schedule : 3 days in office, 2 remote
Mon- Fri 7am-3pm
Senior Payroll Specialist :
- Performing accurate and timely processing, verification, analysis, and reporting of hourly and salaried payroll data for multiple business entities.
- Assisting in continuous analysis and improvement of payroll processes and procedures.
- Processing all aspects of assigned payrolls (500 employees), including time entries, new hires, terminations, tax information, benefit deductions, bonuses, and more.
- Reviewing and validating interfaced data from SuccessFactor to the payroll system.
- Reconciling payroll liabilities and preparing check requests and wire transfers.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
- Have 5-10 years of experience processing payroll from start to finish, preferably in a large, multi-state, union environment.
- Have a high school diploma.
- Have advanced proficiency in Excel and intermediate skills in other MS Office programs.
- Have knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws and employment law.
- Have knowledge of basic accounting methods and principles.
- Have excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
