Position Details: Part time, 3 days per week X 6 hours per day
Compensation: $52.30-$55.30 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our healthcare team. The selected candidates will perform nursing assessments and implement care within the full scope of their practice. They will work collaboratively with Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to provide high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans according to the Washington State Board of Nursing standards.
- Administer medications orally, transdermally, intramuscularly, and subcutaneously, including PRN medications, adhering to organizational policies and pharmaceutical guidelines.
- Perform advanced wound care and other complex nursing procedures as needed, ensuring adherence to best practice standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including LPNs and HCAs, to coordinate and deliver resident care.
- Provide leadership and direction to LPNs and HCAs, ensuring the delegation and assignment of tasks are clear and within the scope of practice.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents, their families, and staff by following established health and safety policies, standards, and procedures, including emergency protocols and infection control measures.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team, both verbally and in writing.
- Document all nursing care accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or nursing management.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure with the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a valid RN license.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Certificate in Geriatric Nursing or related experience is highly preferred.
- (Preferred) At least 1 year of RN experience, preferably in a long-term care or geriatric setting.
