JOB SUMMARY
The IT Technician will install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. Must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems. Will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Below is a listing of the job functions this position performs. Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative.
· Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights.
· Lead remediation efforts for gaps in security and networking.
· Migrate legacy servers/applications to modern solutions.
· Maintain business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
· Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking environment to ensure minimal downtime of day-to-day operations.
· Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project planning, status, activities, and achievements.
· Track and maintain records of hardware and software inventory.
· Documents internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
· Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
· Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
· Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups routines.
· Support and administer remote locations and employees.
· Report safety, quality, production, and personnel concerns to management immediately.
· Stop shipment or production process for quality or safety concerns.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, an individual should meet these minimum education and experience requirements:
. Associate's degree in technology or computer science OR 5 years' equivalent on-the-job experience supporting hardware and software in an enterprise production environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Accredited and active Information Technology certification(s) such as CompTIA Network , Security , A , or equivalent
· Proven work experience in IT
· Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching.
· Experience with or knowledge of network infrastructure devices. Configuration and management of firewalls and switches
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
To perform the job successfully, an individual should be able to meet the physical requirements of the position:
· Work in a standing or sitting position and be able to twist, turn, reach, grip, and bend.
· Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $54,500.00 per year
