Job Description
The Women’s Health Content and Email Marketing Manager is a critical role within Myriad Genetics. This role is focused on delivering the Women’s Health business through digital strategy and content development. This Marketing Manager will lead the overall email campaign strategy & deployment, will partner with the COEs to execute in line with business requirements, and will oversee content creation for digital activations, social, and email content. This person will be a critical component of meeting our business goals and optimizing our return on investment. This person must have a strong track record of agency partnership, bringing brand strategy to life, operational discipline, and driving business results. Ideally, this person can also create content when deadlines /priorities require.
Key responsibilities include:
Create and deliver overall email and content strategy for Myriad Women’s Health
- Define strategic intent and business goals including prioritization of MyRisk and Prenatal products
- Partner with digital agency and digital COE to execute and track success
Own email journeys from strategy to creation to optimization
- Build on initial framework to create journey needs and prioritize them.
- Partner with COEs to execute journeys.
- Create content and track journey performance. Iterate to improve.
Create social media strategy
- Define BU role across channels to meet needs of product strategies
- Execute / partner with enterprise COE to optimize social strategy
Lead content development for social, email, and other digital activations
- Understand brand tone of voice and create guidelines for execution.
- Partner with agencies to create content for social channels, email journeys, and other digital activations.
- Must be able to also rapidly self-iterate content on as needed basis (not the norm)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 years experience in marketing/creative strategy/content creation
- Experience in creating email strategy and analyzing results
- Experience in managing agencies and ability to self-create content
- Proven track record delivering business impact
- Proven track record of ability to pivot and adjust to optimize results
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional team
- Ability to clearly communicate priorities, expectations, and decisions
- Ability to present to wide range of audiences including leadership teams
- Understanding of digital marketing tools and metrics and ability to make decisions using data
- Ability to brief agencies and provide feedback
- Ability to analyze information to optimize for business impact
