Duties and Descriptions for the Billing Specialist :
In this position you will be responsible for manually entered all Texas Medicaid claims into the TMHP web portal, tracking claims entered and remaining unbilled, and assisting on other areas of EVV as needed. Your attention to detail will be crucial in reviewing billing information and collaborating with internal teams for resolution. The role also involves interacting with clients to handle billing inquiries and facilitate prompt payments. Proficiency in billing software is essential. Billing Specialist Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
The ideal candidate must have experience with Texas Medicaid and billing of Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy services. Strong attention to detail is essential for reviewing and verifying billing information, addressing discrepancies, and ensuring accurate invoicing. Proficiency in billing software and systems is a must, along with effective communication skills for client interactions and payment facilitation. The candidate should exhibit a proactive approach, be able to work independently and meet deadlines consistently. Previous experience in billing or a related financial role is preferred.
