Key Responsibilities:
- Entrepreneurial Minded – MUST. Able to speak confidently and naturally to brokers and executives
- Contact insurance brokers and prospective customers to establish a business relationship
- Accountable for achieving monthly and annual sales targets
- Prepare and present professional and comprehensive proposals detailing products, services, and options
- Maintains contact with existing customers to continue the business relationship
- Performs general administrative support of the sales team. Tasks may include answering phone calls, preparing presentation material, counting, calculating census data, etc
- Conducts research and responds to inquiries and requests for proposals
- Tasks may include preparing, initiating, and gathering implementation paperwork to and from group contacts and/or brokers
- Work with multiple internal departments to collaborate and ensure a smooth group transition process
- Develop appropriate solutions to customer issues and concerns using excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in employee benefits with a solid working knowledge of self-funded insurance plans and medical stop-loss captives preferred
- Microsoft Office skills
- Experience using HubSpot is a plus
- Extreme attention to detail and pride in your work product
- Compelling presentation writing and storytelling abilities
- College degree preferred, preferably in marketing, business, or education
- Experience in marketing service-related products is preferred
- Must have exemplary presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with various departments
- Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize competing priorities
- Requires ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment
