MyUS.com is a worldwide eCommerce shipping company that is seeking a Part Time Office Assistant, an energetic self-starter with strong attention to detail and world class customer service. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing support to multiple departments within our office and operations teams in an effective and efficient manner. This position will ensure that our company is delivering excellence to both our guests and our team members.
Schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Greet and assist visitors, vendors, members, and contractors
• Answer phones, direct calls, and respond to inquiries
• Reserve meeting space, and maintain meeting calendars for the company
• Assist with document processing, reporting, and meeting and travel arrangements
• Assist with special events and team member reward programs
• Order, maintain, and stock inventory accordingly
• Assist with lunch caterings
• Maintain current knowledge of operational hours, security, and facility grounds
• Assure safety standards are being utilized, and complies with all company, local, state, and federal guidelines
• Attend all Compliance training classes and abide by Compliance policies and procedures
• Exude exemplary customer service and consistently embody the MyUS Core Values (Teamwork, Trust, Mutual Respect, and Accountability)
• Perform other related duties and projects as required by management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written communication
• Comfortable with all audiences and team member levels, up to C-Suite level
• Ability to respond to customer/vendor concerns and solve them in a timely manner
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service
• Flexibility to multitask in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities within specified timeframes
• Displays creativity while completing tasks assigned
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Very effective organizational skills with high regard for accurate and detailed work
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Summary of Experience and Education:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree preferred, but not required
• 1 years’ experience in a fast-paced office administration role (open to training an eager candidate based on attitude and aptitude to learn quickly)
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, and internet programs
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Able to perform medium work by exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects such as, but not limited to, cases of water and other items
