As we continue to grow, we’re looking to hire an Agricultural Researcher to join our Yuma, AZ team. This is a full-time hybrid role, where you will spend your time divided between the office and the field. Within this role, you will design, facilitate, and execute field and lab research trials using N-Drip systems and technologies.

Responsibilities
- Create and conduct test plans, product feature testing, research, and development field trials.
- Direct daily operations and delegate tasks to R&D Field Technicians.
- Identify emerging system operation concerns, and reoccurring issues, and develop root cause analysis (RCA).
- Observe and report research findings to management, associates, and customers.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis and assessment.
- Suggest design alternatives and support the development of new features and tools.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, agronomists, irrigation technicians, and farmers, on-site and virtually.
- Provide clear and collaborative communication to both US and Israeli operations. On-call working availability to support global company operations.
Education and Experience
- 5 years of technical research and experimental design experience from a relevant industry such as crop protection, soil health, seed production, entomology, or plant breeding.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, or Biology-related fields; Master's Degree is preferred.
- Strong understanding of water chemistry and related disciplines, such as microbiology and hydrology.

- Advanced quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Experience generating and/or using data to drive insights and action.
- Intermediate technical, mechanical, and electronic skills.
- Experience with formulating and executing experiments start-to-finish.
- Critical thinker, analytical, and problem-solver, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Understanding of precision agriculture, irrigation, and crop production.
- Ability to travel locally up to 50% of the time. Occasional overnight travel.
- Ability to work outdoors and in all weather conditions.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items over 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
