As we continue our rapid growth, we are looking for a new member to join the US operations team as a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager. Within this role, you will oversee and manage our global shipping, warehousing, and inventory processes. The Logistics Manager will also be responsible for the supervision of our two local storage facilities and employees.
This is a full-time, office-based role. We offer a competitive salary, PTO, and health benefits. Any occasional travel and work-related expenses are covered by the company.
Responsibilities
- Coordination of import and export of construction materials.
- Keeping up-to-date records of routes, arrivals, deliveries, and the changes being made.
- Plan and manage inventory and procurement in the company’s ERP system.
- Source, build, and maintain supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and estimate materials and budgets.
- Plan and monitor daily operations of two local warehouse locations, not limited to inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, distribution, and inventory.
- Supervise the Storage Manager who conducts the inventory and delivery activities for each of our warehouse locations.
- Continuously improve SOP of logistics and inventory management operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements with regard to logistics management.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics Management, Operations, Business Management, Systems Engineering, or related studies.
- 2 years' experience planning, buying, procurement, and/or delivery or transportation of goods.
- Customer service and technical support experience.
Requirements
- End-to-end supply chain and logistics process facilitation including shipments, warehousing, procurement, imports, and exports.
- Customs, tracking, and tracing experience.
- Knowledge of trucking and transportation carriers, distribution, and delivery.
- Sales and inventory management process experience.
- Previous experience with process analysis, cost reduction, cost avoidance, and process improvements.
- Independent, self-starter, with the ability to find creative solutions to challenging situations.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Providing clear and collaborative communication to both US and Israeli operations. On-call working availability to support global company operations.
- Valid Driver's License
