SCADA, BI and Software Technician
The SCADA, BI and Software Developer will be actively involved in the design, implementation, coordination, and maintenance of the Nacelle SCADA systems. This person will work closely with internal business partners and IT to ensure clean quality data is accessible for all users. This employee will report directly to Nacelle’s Director of Engineering and Shared Services. The SCADA systems are the corner stone to the data infrastructure at Nacelle. This position will be required to design, build, and maintain local gas processing plant SCADA systems as well as centralized data/HMI gateways. An unrelenting focus on safety for all activities is paramount. With a customer-centric focus, SCADA, BI and Software Developers must possess a strong capacity for attention to detail and a sense of urgency for both the customer and Company to meet and exceed operation goals.
Responsibilities
· Build and analyze enterprise level SCADA systems and develop proposals for improvement and business development to all business partners (internal and external).
· Continuous maintenance and upgrades to the SCADA systems
· Responsibility for next generation SCADA products
· Influence cross-functional stakeholders to integrate business processes and reporting
· Standardize process and equipment across sites, and drive fast decision making to enable an accelerated SCADA implementation schedule
· Assist IT with the reception, installation, and configuration of servers, networks, and equipment .
· Assist IT with firewall set up and security of the SCADA systems from external attacks .
· Working with IT and development team to create drawings and bill of material
· Provide regular updates to the business leadership team on project progress and escalate as necessary to remove issues
· Drive business case optimization and value engineering initiatives for SCADA offerings
· Data communication monitoring and notification
· Troubleshooting equipment and software to repair and diagnose any malfunctions in the system
· System access management
· License and support document organization and maintenance.
· Design and certification of various standards like IEC and other safety regulative
· Technical Purchase Specifications
· Supporting development of Hardware-In-the-Loop test equipment
· Design and release for production and service
· Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
· Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence
· Regular and predictable attendance
· Job level commensurate with experience and skill set

Qualifications
· Associate degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in software or SCADA development.
· Experience / specific knowledge:
- Ignition
- Ignition Perspective
- Programming Proficiency in:
· Experience in Linux and Window OS.
· General knowledge of database management best practices
· General knowledge of cyber security best practices
· General knowledge of systems networking
· Possess a valid driver's license and meet company insurability requirements
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID’s and other construction and fabrication drawings
- Ability to travel
· May be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job duties
· Required to successfully complete a background check and drug screening prior to being hired
· Competencies, skills, and abilities:
- Ability to effectively organize, plan, prioritize, document, and complete work with minimum supervision.
- Advanced computer skills of MS Office, operating systems, company software
- Basic math skills (algebra, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)

Physical Demands/Working Environment:
Travel:
· This position will require travel to other regions to support O&G and Biogas processing.
· Travel within the U.S 3-6 time per quarter .
Regularly required to:
- Work in front of a computer for extended periods of time.
- Talk and hear; verbally express ideas, information, and instructions
- Lift, pull, push, or carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds regularly
Occasionally required to:
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Stand/walk for long periods of time without a break
- Work in low-lit areas
Miscellaneous:
· Must be available to work all shifts and schedules
· Will be required to work in all climate conditions
· Must be available for emergency call outs
· Depending upon the location and workload, travel will be required.
· Will be required to participate and qualify for a variety safety training programs.
· This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug testing
· Occasionally operate company pool vehicle
