NAGS Bar & Kitchen, a vibrant new restaurant located at 221 Main St in Oneonta, NY, is seeking experienced line cooks to join our team. We are looking for organized and enthusiastic individuals to work in our fast-paced dine-in and take-out kitchen. Great attitude, a love for food, and a commitment to cleanliness.

Requirements:

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to work on your feet for long periods
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the restaurant and/or hospitality industry preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience as a line cook or prep cook
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated job stability at previous positions
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cooking a wide variety of menu items for dine-in and take-out customers
  • Maintaining safe food practices
  • Ensuring proper procedures are followed for efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Inventory management
