What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Tester position at NAI?
Essential Role and Responsibilities
- Perform testing on a variety of end units and sub-assemblies.
- Utilize and monitor a variety of test equipment.
- Meet and maintain production deadlines as required.
- Perform thermal and vibration Environmental Testing (ESS).
- Ability to follow written test procedures.
- Analyze passing / failed test data.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- AAS in Electronics Technology, Technical School graduate or equivalent experience / military training.
- Knowledge of general purpose test equipment, such as an oscilloscope and DVM.
- Working knowledge of basic Analog and Digital circuitry.
- Must possess general interest and basic knowledge of electronics.
Language Skills
- Must be fluent in both written and verbal English.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Must be able to work under tight production schedules with changing priorities.
- Must be computer literate.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required to interface with various interdepartmental personnel.
- Ability to take initiative and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
- Basic SMT and through-hole soldering skills desired.
