Naik Consulting Group, P.C., is seeking a Marketing Content Writerwith content editing/writing experience to assist the marketing department and other members of the team daily. The qualified individual must:
Be a take-charge kind of individual who knows their way around a Microsoft Word Document, Excel Spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF. Adobe Photoshop and InDesign experience preferred but not required.
o Have the ability to problem solve.
o Have to be organized.
o Ability to write and proofread.
o Able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
About the position: The Marketing Content Writer would coordinate and prepare simple to moderately complex proposal submissions from the point of decision to client delivery. The Candidate would also interface and coordinate with subconsultants and provide miscellaneous marketing support. The primary duties will include content strategy, proofreading, editing, and developing content.
In addition:
o Develop content for proposals, presentations, websites, and social media posts.
o Proofread and edit, spelling and grammar.
o Ensure that content meets Naik’s needs and follows our in-house branding.
o Organize, modify, and update existing content.
o Work with the marketing and graphics team to draft proposals and communicate across teams to get input and meet strict deadlines.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to produce fresh, creative content ideas.
o Coordinate and maintain team documentation efforts for responses to RFPs/RFQs
o Conduct and facilitate pursuit and proposal meetings.
Experience & Skills-
o Ability to take direction and think independently when given tasks.
o Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
o Experience within related industries (civil engineering/architectural/construction)
o Familiarity with RFP and RFQ procedures
o Incredibly high level of quality, consistency, and accuracy
o Must have organizational and time management skills.
o Proven written and verbal communication skills.
o Flexible; ability to shift priorities under pressure while maintaining routine follow-through on deadlines and commitments.
o Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, but function as part of a team.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, or English strongly preferred, but not required.
o Minimum of two years' experience in marketing, communications or closely related field to the Architecture & Engineering Industry required.
