HR Assistant
Our HR team is looking for an assistant to help with different HR, operations and recruitment tasks and projects. The ideal candidate would enjoy working in a team and helping colleagues with various tasks and projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
- Accurately collect and maintain HR Data within the HR systems
- Assist with completion of work permit procedures
- Support the recruitment/hiring process as needed
- Assist with New hires, by conducting background checks, preparation of employment contracts and other related documents
- Schedule meetings, interviews, etc
- Assist with planning and coordination of HR and social events (employee appreciation, social events, job fairs etc.)
- Assist with orientations, on boarding and update records with new hires
- Other related tasks as required by supervisor
Skills
- Minimum 2 years proven experience in an HR or recruitment positions
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Experience using social media (Linked In, Twitter, Facebook etc.) for recruiting
- Bilingual
- Strong ability in using MS Office
- Proven track record handling many tasks and projects at the same time
- Reliable, people person who enjoys working with a diverse range of individuals and puts employee requirements and needs first
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet tight timelines
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Team spirit with positive attitude
Good to have
- Experience working in the IT/software industry
- Knowledge of labor relations legislation
