HRIS coordinator

We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven HRIS coordinator to join our Team!

Reporting to the Vice-president, People & Culture, the candidate will be responsible for the different HR information systems: for collecting employee data, compiling reports for department leaders and take part of the payroll process. This data helps the company understand the workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately collect and maintain HR Data within the HR system and related reporting
  • Manage and process HR entry for bi-weekly payroll in collaboration with the finance department
  • Support benefits and leave administration programs, including medical-dental insurance, short-term disability, workers’ compensation and personal leaves
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of Federal and Provincial legislation related to labour laws and payroll
  • Support implementation of annual salary review and STI/bonus payments
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistent approaches to work/management practices that meet business requirements,
  • are consistent with best practices and relevant legislation
  • Maintain data integrity for providing data to external auditors
  • Lead an HRIS systems implementation activities, including configuration, documentation, testing, and project review sessions related to integration
  • Prepare and maintain employee files, assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality
  • Prepare, maintain and distribute various monthly reports
  • Build and maintain KPIs (Key performance indicators) which measure HR’s department performance.
  • Implement effective compliance policies and stay informed of the various regulations with which the company must comply where it operates
  • Help create, organize and deliver learning and development projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management or other related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience in HR
  • Proactive, generates ideas and proposes solutions
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment, particularly excel and powerpoint
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills both in French and English
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated and organized with the ability to work independently
