Currently looking for a qualified, professional and experienced individual to join our team as a Back of House Shift Leader of Nancy’s Pizza. Nancy’s Pizza is a carry out and delivery pizza restaurant serving Chicago deep dish as well as original thin, rustic and pan pizzas. Our menu also provides great choices for appetizers, salads, pastas and sandwiches. Our customers can choose from carry out or delivery.
The Back of House Shift Leader reports directly to the General Manager. Shift Leaders are responsible for helping drive results in the Back of House by achieving goals established. Shift Leaders are responsible for running for a smooth shift in the kitchen by helping direct Crew Members and ensure all customer’s orders are completed with the highest of quality in a timely fashion. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Helping maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the Back of House
- Help BOH Manager maintain proper inventory of food and paper products.
- Responsible for ensuring operational checklists are completed thoroughly and properly for each shift.
- Ensure all customer’s orders are put together thoroughly and timely, following brand and company recipes and standards.
- Help or lead prep as needed.
- Ensures we are complaint with all Health Department standards.
- Ensure labor standards are met for each shift.
Requirements
- 1 year of Back of House/Kitchen experience.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
- Excellent people management skills, communication and listening skills.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Must be internally motivated to improve oneself as well as motivated to teach others.
- Food Handler’s certification
Competitive wage based on experience.
