ROLE SUMMARY
The supply chain coordinator to join the Nando’s PERi-PERi USA, INC company supporting the Nando’s Grocery Team. You will be primarily coordinating all supply chain activities ensuring smooth operations between the sales team, marketing, 3PL’s, co-packers, shipping companies and e-commerce channel providers. The Supply Chain Coordinator reports to the NA Finance and Supply Chain Director. This role has the flexibility to be either remote on the East Coast of the United States or based in the Nando’s US office in Washington, DC. As all Nandocas, the Supply Chain Coordinator will be expected to wear many hats, seek out opportunities to make our company better, and, in general, be a good team player! The essential functions of this position are mapped out below:
KEY FOCUS AREAS
Forecasting & Production Planning
- Drive sales forecast process with sales team to build 12 months rolling forecast and monitor forecast accuracy to drive efficiency for both the US and Canada
- Lead production planning, forecasting, and ordering
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels across all warehouses and minimize operational risks
- Liaise with UK SC team to ensure on time and in full production shipments
- Contribute to monthly planning meeting with Central SC team
- Monitor and manage POS materials procurement
Supplier Management
- Manage 3PL relationships for all existing distribution centers/providers
- Control the product set-up in the Supply Chain systems and oversee that 3rd party providers have the necessary information
E-Commerce Management
- Manage E-Fulfilment logistics operations (including purchasing)
- Monitor full production of corrugate packs for online retail sales
- Work with suppliers to provide bi-weekly reports on sales and inventory
Customer Service
- Coordinate with back-office teams to ensure all orders are placed and processed within the relevant timescales and MOQ requirements
- Monitor service levels and take action to resolve any delivery issues
- Control and compare orders volume and value, with the forecast on hand, and share it with commercial team to take action
- Coordinate logistics execution of marketing activities
Master Data Management
- Work closely with UK teams to ensure correct products are being ordered and all registration and labeling is completed prior to ordering
- Control the product set-up in the Supply Chain systems and oversee that 3rd party providers have the necessary information
Special Projects
- From time to time, oversee and or assist on special short- and long-term projects that could include but is not limited to:
- Warehousing analysis
- Pallet configurations or design
- Inventory replenishment
- E-Commerce channel analysis
- New Product Development research
- Various technology projects
- General process improvement
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- 1 years of related work or internship experience in CPG preferred
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project management skills or experience with juggling multiple tasks with deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced team environment
- Fun-loving team player with entrepreneurial flair and excited about working in a culturally diverse international environment
- Strong analytical and planning skills with a keen eye for detail
- Natural influencing skills and able to coordinate diverse resources
