Seeking an experienced OVERNIGHT Nanny for a 5 month old child

Nanny's & Granny's, a reputable agency since 1987, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nanny for a wonderful family relocating to New Jersey estimated to be around the East Rutherford/Franklin Lakes area, in June 2024.The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a respectful and professional demeanor, and the ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the family's child. MUST BE OK WITH OVENIGHT AWAKE CARE

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and loving care to a young child, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Engage in age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation (bringing own lunch), feeding, diaper changes, naps, and bedtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the child.
• Adhere to the family's guidelines and preferences, including no kissing the baby, no phone use while on duty, and respecting boundaries.
• Manage occasional travel with the family, ensuring the child's needs are met while away from home.
• Interact positively with the family's two large energetic bulldogs.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role.
• Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) certification preferred.
• Strong love and passion for working with children.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to respect the family's preferences, no photography of the baby, and bringing own lunch, no discussions of the families work.
• Must be comfortable working in a home with dogs (no specific care required).
• MUST BE OKAY WITH OVERNIGHT CARE

What Sets You Apart:

• A minimum of 3 years proven nanny experience
• The readiness to commit to a year-long contract.
• Ability and willingness to pass background and drug tests.
• Current or willing-to-obtain certifications: Infant/Child CPR, First Aid, TB skin test, Blood-borne Illness class, and relevant online child education courses.
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Bonus Points: Love dogs- family has two dogs in home
