What are the responsibilities and job description for the Showroom Receptionist position at Naples Kitchen and Bath?
Naples Kitchen & Bath is looking for an individual with a smiling face to welcome our many guests and clients, and take responsibility of our showroom.
This individual should embrace a hospitable attitude and should be a professional, including attitude and attire. You will take charge of scheduling conference room appointments and events, answer the phones for the company, and at times help out our Design Consultants with preparation for client meetings. You will meet and collaborate with our vendor representatives for showroom samples. Responsibility of cleanliness and organization of the showroom will fall upon you. You will need to accept and sign for deliveries. Retail or a flare for design experience is recommended. We are looking for a long term employee
This job is Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5 p.m. You need to punctual to open up the showroom on a daily basis.
Responsibilities may include expanded role with increase in compensation for the right individual. Pay is commensurate upon experience. Below are additional responsibilities that may become available after dedicated training is provided. We are looking for someone that wants to learn! We are looking for someone that wants to be challenged and broaden their knowledge base about the Design Build Construction Industry.
a) Supporting design staff as follows to learn how to become an effective Design Assistant with eventually a career path to Designer
b) Bid requests with Vendors & purchasing of materials
c) Updating CoConstruct Software with Progress Updates, Communications and Files
d) Assist the Designers with their clients in selecting materials and putting Story Board together
e) Ordering Samples, Checking Product Availability, Staying up to date on Product Knowledge
f) Communicating with Clients as needed throughout the course of a Project (as needed)
g) Have the ability to multi task and a high level and be proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point
h) Some job site visits may be required as it relates to the progression in your training (limited)
i) Becoming familiar with ProKitchen or 2020 Design Software as it relates to the progression in your training
j) Learn how to write scopes of work for the various trades affected by a project so that bid request can be sent out to Subs, track bids & follow up using our systems
l) Learn how to write a contract for any given project
